Meet Melissa Jobe

LPCA

My approach to therapy focuses on unconditional positive regard, empathy, and care. I believe a safe and encouraging therapeutic environment promotes healing and growth. When working together, we will explore strengths, new strategies, and useful tools to assist in your journey of wellness. I value the lived experiences and perspectives of my clients and strive to foster client empowerment and increased personal awareness.

I am passionate about working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief,
trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with
children and adolescents, and I especially love the playfulness, honesty, and humor
this population brings into the therapy setting. I look forward to joining you on this
journey!

Melissa Jobe, LPCA, has over 14 years of experience working in various settings,
including teaching in the public school system, individual and group therapy in a
youth shelter, Family Preservation Services through the Indiana Department of
Child Services, and school-based therapy.

Melissa has earned a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from
University of the Cumberlands and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
from Indiana University Southeast.

Melissa’s desire to care for others has been
evident throughout her life, and she made the transition from teaching to
